The National Mathematics & Physics (NMAP) SCITT is England’s only school centred provider of subject specific teacher training in Mathematics and Physics with an enhanced focus on subject knowledge and pedagogy. The NMAP SCITT Programme was developed and is delivered by expert practicing teachers in collaboration with the subject associations. The SCITT’s most recent Ofsted inspection highlights how well we know our trainees as individuals and support them; Ofsted also commented about our well-structured, cohesive and ambitious curriculum. This is an exciting opportunity to join the MFL department at John Hampden Grammar School, starting in September 2025 or earlier. Our students are incredibly talented and motivated and this role would suit a teacher or ECT looking for a new challenge who is able to teach two of these languages to GCSE and ideally be able to offer one at A level.
